Software Licensed by the Science Library: ChemDraw Office, Signals Notebook, + Cloud
Publisher Change = End of Life for Previous Products
In 2024, Revvity purchased ALL ChemDraw products from PerkinElmer. Those products began a rebranding under the new publisher. From a user perspective, this is a good thing. Everything we know and love about ChemDraw products remains unchanged and, under a new publisher, the products will continue to evolve to meet the growing needs of the industry.
However, to embrace the change, users must ensure that any data stored on the cloud under the previous licensing PerkinElmer brand is backed up and transferred to the new brand.
The PerkinElmer products, Signals Notebook Individual Edition and ChemDraw Cloud (both of which Stanford Libraries licensed and distributed through 12/31/2024) will experience End of Life on March 1st, 2025. If you use the following URLs to access Signals Notebook or ChemDraw Cloud, your data will be affected:
https://signalsresearch.revvitycloud.com/
https://chemdraweln.signalsresearch.revvitycloud.com/
https://chemdraw.signalsresearch.revvitycloud.com/
After March 1st, 2025, all data on these accounts will be deleted and unrecoverable.
If you want to download your data as a backup, follow the instructions here.
To migrate your data to Revvity's products, please fill out the Signals ChemDraw and Notebook Request Form to request an account for Stanford Libraries' new site license. Once your new account is created, information to migrate data from Signals Individual Edition to Standard Edition is available here.
