The LexisNexis Web Services API is a subscription-based service that allows researchers to access and text mine Nexis Uni's news collections.

Stanford University students, faculty and staff are eligible to use the LexisNexis Web Services API.

Using the API requires basic-to-intermediate fluency with programming languages (e.g., Python or R) and data representations used in data exchange (e.g., JSON or XML).

Interested users must apply for access.
