Library resources for FLI students: Find textbooks

A guide to Stanford Libraries' resources for FLI students

Check out the FLIibrary at the FLI Office in Old Union

Before coming to the library for your textbook, visit the  FLIibrary (FLI Library) at the FLI Student Success Center.  The FLIibrary supports FLI students with donated textbooks required for classes. These textbooks are at no charge to FLI students and can be used the whole quarter. If you are in need of a textbook and are a FLI student, please stop by the FLI Student Success Center on the 2nd floor of Old Union before purchasing one on your own.

At the libraries

The Stanford Libraries do not keep a specific textbook collection, but you still might be able to find your textbook in the library.  The first step is to go to SearchWorks and search the catalog for the book.  You might find records for a physical copy that you can check out, an online version that you can view or you may see that the book is in course reserves.

Other resources

These websites sell new, used and rental textbooks (physical and e-books) at a discount. They are not endorsed by or affiliated with Stanford but are worth checking out.
