Relax and play

A view of students sitting in Hohbach Hall

Hohbach Hall on the first floor of the East Wing is an interactive zone that offers a variety of activities.  For example, you can:

  • Chat with your friends
  • Sit in a comfy chair and look at the scenery
  • Read a magazine from our display
  • Piece together one of our jigsaw puzzles
  • View exhibits from the Silicon Valley Archives

On the lower level of the East Wing is the Media and Microtext Center where you can:

  • Play video games, vintage or new, on your favorite console system (also vintage or new!)
  • Watch movies
  • Play board games
  • Play table tennis

The Media and Microtext Center hours may differ from the general library hours, so be sure to check first. Media and Microtext Center Hours

A view of the Bender Room

If your idea of relaxing is to be in a quiet, cozy place, visit one of the reading rooms in the libraries.  A favorite is the Bender Room on the 5th floor of the Bing Wing of Green Library.  It has lovely views over the campus, comfortable chairs, a warm feeling and books for recreational reading.
