Journals
- British journal of sociology of education"British Journal of Sociology of Education is one of the most renowned international scholarly journals in the field. The journal publishes high quality original, theoretically informed analyses of the relationship between education and society, and has an outstanding record of addressing major global debates about the social significance and impact of educational policy, provision, processes and practice in many countries around the world."
- Contemporary issues in early childhood"Contemporary Issues in Early Childhood is a peer-reviewed international research journal. The journal provides a forum for researchers and professionals who are exploring new and alternative perspectives in their work with young children (from birth to eight years of age) and their families. CIEC aims to present opportunities for scholars to highlight the ways in which the boundaries of early childhood studies and practice are expanding, and for readers to participate in the discussion of emerging issues, contradictions and possibilities."
- Education and urban society"Education and Urban Society (EUS) is the preeminent journal for communicating new ideas on educational processes, controversies, research, and policy. It places special emphasis on the relationship between educators and society."

- Sociology of education"Sociology of Education (SOE) provides a forum for studies in the sociology of education and human social development. SOE publishes research that examines how social institutions and individuals’ experiences within these institutions affect educational processes and social development. Such research may span various levels of analysis, ranging from the individual to the structure of relations among social and educational institutions. In an increasingly complex society, important educational issues arise throughout the life cycle."
- Youth and society"Youth & Society is a multidisciplinary peer-reviewed journal that focuses on issues related to the 10-24 year old population. We are interested in both U.S. and global adolescent populations. We do not publish studies with sampling from university students. Although the adolescent period is the focus of the journal, transitional issues from childhood to adolescence and from adolescence to adulthood are also of interest. Relevant topics include a wide array of issues ranging from individual level factors to policy concerns pertinent to adolescence. We are particularly interested in the social, contextual, and political factors that influence healthy and harmful adolescent development."
