While some datasets are publicly available, others have specific access requirements. If the dataset is public you can skip to querying the data; otherwise, you'll need to fulfill access requirements before you can fully utilize the data.
➊ On the right side of all restricted dataset pages is a box which displays your current access level, and (if applicable) a button to apply for additional levels of access.

➋ When you select “Apply for access,” a pop-up will display the requirements for additional access levels. In this example, the user doesn’t have data access.

➌ When the user selects “Apply” (for data access), they will be asked to agree to a Data Use Agreement. The Data Use Agreement describes conditions for using the data.

➎ Once the user has agreed to the Data Use Agreement, they will see that their access levels have updated.
