Copyright Guidance at Stanford Libraries
This guide highlights common campus copyright concerns in order to help the Stanford community navigate these important issues.
Members of the Stanford community are welcome to contact Stanford Libraries' Office of Scholarly Communications for copyright assistance via email or to arrange a consultation. The Office of Scholarly Communications does not offer legal advice, but can assist researchers in understanding copyright in the Stanford University context and discuss approaches to copyright concerns. If you have specific legal questions relevant to Stanford University, we will refer you to the Office of General Counsel.
