Land Acknowledgment Statement

“Stanford sits on the ancestral land of the Muwekma Ohlone Tribe. This land was and continues to be of great importance to the Ohlone people. Consistent with our values of community and inclusion, we have a responsibility to acknowledge, honor, and make visible the University’s relationship to Native peoples.”

Native American Studies at Stanford Libraries

Stanford Libraries collect widely in Native American Studies, acquiring materials in all formats to support teaching and research in Native American Studies at Stanford, as well as providing reference services and bibliographic instruction to students and faculty in the Native American Studies Program and allied disciplines.
